Georgia Gwizzles Assemble Pre-season Roster

Macon, GA. The ABA Georgia Gwizzlies have assembled their pre-season roster and according to team owner Embry Malone, "We think we have the finest group of players ever assembled for the ABA, a team with definite championship potential." On Monday, November 8th at 12noon, the Gwizzles will have its first Media Day which will be open to the public also - and will begin training camp at the Macon Centerplex Coliseum. Here are the players invited:

7'2 Charlie Ludwig

6'8 Jason Warren

6'3 Michael Toth

6'7 Brian Festog

6'7 Mike Davis

6'7 James Webb

6'5 Chad Thomas

6'8 Durrell Minor

6'1 Stuart Mitchell (co-captain)

6'10 Harold Cardwell

6'5 Ron Jackson

Also on the squad for the training camp are Josh Harris, Marcus Ward, Ardell Hoard, Rufus Talmadge and Joquain O'Neill.

Malone added, "Each member of the team is required to read "They Call Me Coach" by the legendary John Wooden before opening day. Other players have been invited and will play on the Gwizzlies taxi squad that will be called Team Macon. The roster will compete against teams in the SEBL.
