Generals Offering Free Admission for Final Two Home Games

Jackson, Tenn. - To show appreciation for the fans, the Jackson Generals will be offering free admission for the team's final two home games of the season. Fans will be able to get free tickets for games Monday, August 31 and Tuesday, September 1 against Pensacola.

The Generals are on pace to average more than 2,000 fans per contest for the second year in a row, and well over 100,000 have come through the turnstiles in 2015. The team has had eight crowds of more than 4,000 this season, including a franchise-record 6,814 on Disney Night June 20!

"We just want to show our appreciation for the great Generals' fans in Jackson and surrounding counties," General Manager Jason Compton said. "The atmosphere at The Ballpark at Jackson has been fantastic this season, and we want to finish strong for our final two home games of the season."

Each of the games the team is offering free admission for start at 7:05 pm CT against the Pensacola Blue Wahoos, Double-A affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds.

Jackson's final home series of the season begins August 28 and is highlighted by SEC Night presented by CCA Hardeman County with postgame fireworks Saturday, August 29! SEC Football Tickets will be given away throughout the contest along with a pair of Laz-E-Boy Chairs thanks to Coffman's Home Furnishings! It's also Paint the Park Pink Night with the American Cancer Society!

The team's penultimate home series of the season continues Thursday with one final State Farm Agent West Harris Dollar Night of the season, with $1 general admission tickets, popcorn, hot dogs, soda and domestic beer! Friday is a Denny's Free Cash Friday with free cash giveaways throughout the contest and a Pregame Autograph session prior! The series wraps up with Diamond Jaxx Throwback Night presented by Jackson Sport & Fitness and WBBJ Saturday! The team will wear Diamond Jaxx jerseys and hats for the contest, which will be auctioned off afterwards with proceeds going to Special Needs Athletics! The homestand wraps up with a fantastic fireworks display after Saturday's game!
