Generals Game Postponed on Thursday

JACKSON, TENN. (MAY 31, 2012) - The Jackson Generals game tonight against the Pensacola Blue Wahoos at Pringles Park has been postponed due to rain. Fans with tickets to tonight's game may be exchanged for any other regular season game during the 2012 season. The game will be made up on Friday as part of a double-header. Game one is scheduled for 5:05 p.m., with game two to begin 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one.

Due to the cancellation of Dollar Night, presented by MobileNation, hot dogs, popcorn, 12 oz sodas and 12 oz beer will be just $1 on Friday from when gates open at 4:00 p.m. and last until 6:30 p.m. There will be NO ticket specials on Friday

On Friday, Honor Roll students will be recognized, but there will be no on-field festivities. Friday night there will be a postgame fireworks extravaganza, There will be a pregame concert by Memphis Jones. Friday night is Men's Health Night at Pringles Park. There will be NO pregame team autograph session. The next team autograph session will be on July 13th.

The pitching matchups for tomorrow's double-header has not been announced.

The Generals are 31-22 on the season and lead the Southern League North Division over Huntsivlle by 1 1/2 games with 17 to play in the first half.
