
General Manager Kurt Silcott resigns

Buffalo, N.Y. (September 14, 2005) --- The Buffalo Bandits today announced the resignation of General Manager Kurt Silcott who has taken a similar position with the Calgary Roughnecks.
Silcott, who was the National Lacrosse League's General Manager of the Year in 2003, took over as General Manager of the Bandits six games into the 1999 season. Under his guidance, the team compiled a record of 57-39, made four playoff appearances, and appeared in the 2004 Champions Cup Finals.
"The Bandits have been very successful the past few years under Kurt's guidance," said Bandits Governor Dan DiPofi. "We are sorry to see Kurt leave and we wish him the very best in his future endeavors."
A 1994 graduate of Nazareth College, Silcott began his career as an assistant football coach at St. John Fisher College in 1994. His older brother Brian played for the Bandits in the 1994 and 1999 seasons.
