April 16, 2002 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Houston Aeros News Release

HOUSTON, TX - The Aeros announced today that tickets for the Western Conference Quarterfinals Game Five (Ticket F) will go on sale beginning at 12:00 PM at all Ticketmaster Outlets located at Fiesta's, Foley's or Wherehouse Music, by calling Ticketmaster at 713/629-3700 or by logging on to www.ticketmaster.com. Discount group tickets are available by calling the Aeros at 713/974-PUCK (7825). If necessary, Game Five is scheduled for Saturday, April 20 at 7:30 PM at the Compaq Center.

With the Quarterfinals best-of-five series tied at 1-1 with the Utah Grizzlies, the need for a Game Five will not be determined until the conclusion of Game Four, which is Thursday, April 18 at the E Center at Salt Lake City. Game time is set for 8:00 PM CDT, and can be heard on SportsRadio 610 AM.

If the Aeros win both games at Utah this week, they will advance to the Western Conference Semifinals, and will not need to play Game Five. Games One and Two of the Western Conference Semifinals (Tickets G and H) will then go on sale Friday, April 19 at 12:00 PM. If each team wins a game, then the series will be decided in Game Five at Houston on Saturday. Should the Aeros advance to the Semifinals after Saturday's game, Games One and Two of the Semifinals series (Tickets G and H) will go on sale Sunday, April 21 at 12:00 PM. If the Aeros lose both games, they will be eliminated from the Calder Cup playoffs.

PLAYOFF TICKET EXCHANGE POLICY: If Game Five is not played, fans that have purchased Ticket F may exchange them for Games One and Two of the Conference Semifinals (Tickets G and H) AT THE POINT OF PURCHASE ONLY. Tickets purchased online at either www.aeros.com or www.tickemaster.com must be exchanged by phone by calling Ticketmaster at 713/629-3700. In the event that the Aeros are eliminated from the playoffs without playing Game F, tickets can be returned AT THE POINT OF PURCHASE ONLY for a full refund.

Led in goal by netminder Jamie McLennan, the Aeros will be looking to avenge their heartbreaking 3-2 overtime loss April 13 at Houston with a win tonight at the E Center. Fans can hear The Voice of the Aeros Ken Double call every exciting play on SportsRadio 610 AM or on the Aeros' website at www.aeros.com.
