
Gamblers Take First Game in Weekend Series with Team USA

Green Bay Gamblers News Release
The Green Bay Gamblers (6-9-0-1) got back in the win column in a 5-2 win against Team USA (3-9-1-0) Friday at the Resch Center. Team USA started the night offensively, taking an early 2-0 lead. However, Green Bay would come back swinging, started by a score halfway into the first period, making it a 2-1 game heading into the second period. Then it was all Gamblers, scoring 3 goals in the period to give them a 4-2 lead at the second intermission. With an empty-net goal at the end of the third, Green Bay would take the first game against the USA this weekend in a 5-2 win.
Camron VanSickle was the offensive catalyst for Green Bay, scoring 2 goals. The Gamblers also received scoring from Cameron Lund, Matt Deboer, and Alex Servagno, who each scored 1 goal. Deboer and Servagno also recorded 1 assist each along with John Mittelstadt, Will Staring, and Sawyer Scholl. Brody Lamb would have 2 assists on the night. In net, Rastislav Elias went all 60 minutes, saving 22 of 24 shots, allowing 2 goals.
Green Bay and Team USA will play each other again Saturday, November 27, at the Resch Center.
