
Gamblers Fall in Saturday Night Shootout

The Green Bay Gamblers took on the Chicago Steel at the Resch Center Saturday night for Harry Potter Night, finishing in a shootout loss of 5-4.
After a first period with no scores, the second and third would see each team score two goals each to set up an overtime battle.
In overtime, neither team scored, sending it to a shootout.
In the shootout, Chicago would take the win after scoring one shootout goal compared to the Gamblers scoring none.
Leading Green Bay in goals for the night was Jimmy Clark with two, followed by goals from Jayson Shaugabay and Matthew DiMarsico. The Gamblers received two assists from Barrett Hall with one each from Carter Rose and Jake Martin.
Defensively, Kristoffer Eberly was in net for the full 65:00 minutes along with shootout. He saved 32 of the 36 shots, allowing four goals.
The Gamblers are back at the Resch Center Sunday, March 26 for Ace's birthday.
