CARSON, CA (Thursday, February 01, 2007) - The Los Angeles Galaxy will open their pre-season training camp on Monday, February 5 at The Home Depot Center on the campus of California State University at Dominguez Hills, the club announced today. The morning training session will begin at 11:00 am and is scheduled to take place on the main stadium field.

Galaxy Head Coach Frank Yallop begins his first full season in charge of the club, after taking over in June 2006. In addition to welcoming back members of last year's Galaxy team, Yallop and his staff will take their first look at the players selected at the 2007 MLS SuperDraft and Supplemental Draft.

Los Angeles will be without four players for Monday's opening training session as defender Chris Albright, forward Landon Donovan and newcomers goalkeeper Joe Cannon and forward Nate Jaqua are in camp with the U.S. National Team, preparing for their upcoming friendly on Feb. 7 against Mexico in Glendale, AZ.
