Galaxy finish 2018 MLS Preseason schedule with two home matches this week

LOS ANGELES - The LA Galaxy will compete in two preseason friendlies this week, both taking place at StubHub Center. First, the Galaxy will face Vancouver Whitecaps FC in a closed-door scrimmage on Wednesday, Feb. 21 at StubHub Center. Then, LA will again face Vancouver on Saturday, Feb. 24 at StubHub Center (7 p.m. PT, streamed live on LAGalaxy.com) in the team's final game of the 2018 preseason.

Tickets to LA Galaxy's preseason match vs. Vancouver Whitecaps FC on Saturday, Feb. 24 are available for purchase.

The Galaxy completed two friendlies last week, defeating USL opponent Fresno FC 3-1 at Harder Stadium in Santa Barbara, with the Galaxy donating match proceeds from the match to United Way of Santa Barbara County to help victims of the Thomas Fire and local mudslides. Sebastian Lletget, Chris Pontius and Tomas Hilliard-Arce all scored in the match.

On Saturday, the team fell 4-2 to San Jose Earthquakes in a preseason exhibition at Orange County Great Park in Irvine, Calif. New LA Galaxy forward Ola Kamara recorded a brace in the contest.

The LA Galaxy will open the 2018 MLS Season on Sunday, March 4 at StubHub Center against Portland Timbers (7 p.m. PT, FS1).
