
Gabe Freeman Named NBL Canada Player of the Week

The National Basketball League of Canada is pleased to announce that Gabe Freeman of the London Lightning has been named Player of the Week for the week ending November 6, 2011.
Freeman, a 6'7", 215-pound small forward from Costa Mesa (Calif.) Jr. College, was instrumental in London's first three wins of the season. Freeman started off with a 20-point, 11-rebound night in London's opening game on November 4 against Halifax, a 21-point, 15-rebound double-double on Saturday, November 6 on a road game against Halifax, and then in November 7's win over Saint John, Freeman scored 11 points and eight team-high rebounds.
