OTTAWA - Ottawa Fury FC have announced the acquisition of the young Canadian talent Clement Bayiha (Clay-Mawn Ba-Ee-Yah) from the Montreal Impact Academy. This is the 19 year-old's first professional contract. Bayiha will remain with the Montreal Impact for a short-term loan.
Born in Cameroon, Bayiha and his family moved to France when he was five, before establishing themselves in Sainte-Thérèse, Quebec, when he was 11 years old. Bayiha joined the Montreal Impact Academy in 2016 after playing with AS Blainville of the Première ligue de soccer du Québec.

The 5-foot-8 defender has also made his international debut in 2018, most recently representing Canada with the U-21 team led by John Herdman at the renowned Festival International Espoirs Provence in Toulon, France.
