
FSN Houston to Air Six Comets Games

HOUSTON - The Houston Comets announced today that the team has partnered with FSN Houston to air six Comets games in 2005. The local television schedule will tip off on June 18 when the Comets visit the San Antonio Silver Stars. This will mark the first season that FSN Houston has teamed up with the Comets to be the official flagship television station.
Handling the play-by-play duties will be Jeff Hagedorn, who returns for his seventh season as the "Voice of the Comets." Cynthia Cooper returns for her second season as color analyst.
In addition to the television schedule, the Comets announced time changes for two home games that will air on FSN Houston. Houston's game vs. the Los Angeles Sparks on July 23 will move up to a 1 p.m. start. The game was originally schedule to start at 1:30 p.m. The Comets next locally televised game vs. the San Antonio Silver Stars on July 30 will push back to a 2 p.m. start. That game too was originally schedule for a 1:30 p.m. start time.

In addition, the Comets will be on two nationally televised games on ESPN2 (July 12 vs. New York Liberty and July 19 vs. Sacramento Monarchs).
