Vermont Frost Heaves News Release
We hope all of our fans had a wonderful Thanksgiving with friends and families. We're just a little over a week away from the opening of our training camp, and the excitement for our 5th season is building.
Season tickets are on sale now - you can go to our website and click on "buy tickets" and purchase your tickets today. Season tickets make great holiday gifts. No lines, no hassles...plus they're the gift that keeps giving!!
If you're one of our fans who may be out of the area, you can purchase tickets and return them to us for our charitable ticket giveaway program. As in years past, we plan to provide opportunities to area youth and families the chance to see a Frost Heaves game, and your ticket purchase will help.
Have you checked out our website lately? We've been adding news items weekly and have links to our team's facebook page, twitter, and Bump's facebook page. We're going to open our team gear store, Bump's Bog, shortly, and will also add a page devoted to our social mission.
Here are a few upcoming events you may interested in attending:
12/4 - Bump will be at City Hall Park in Barre helping to raise money for the Barre City Holiday Toy Drive
12/9 - The Heaves will play an intra-squad scrimmage at 4:00 pm at the Aud - open to the public
12/9 - The Frost Heaves are sponsoring their first ever Business Mixer at the Steakhouse (one of our great meal deal partners) beginning at 5:30 pm
12/11 - The Frost Heaves will play the Saint John Mill Rats in Saint John in our first pre-season game
12/13 - There is a "Meet, Greet, and Eat with the Frost Heaves" spaghetti dinner at the Canadian Club in Barre beginning at 6:00 pm - call 802-595-9747 for details
12/19 - Come to the Aud at either 8:00 or 9:00 am for a pancake breakfast - call 802-595-9747 for details
12/19 - The Heaves will play the Saint John Mill Rats in a pre-season game - tip off at 2:30 pm. Bring an unwrapped toy for the Barre City Holiday Toy Drive and a non-perishable food item, as the Heaves will collect food at every game to help fight hunger in central Vermont
