The Vermont Frost Heaves are pleased to announce the signing of Taylor Lay for the upcoming 2008/2009 Premier Basketball League season.

Taylor is a 6'7" 225 lb small forward that played for the Shamrock Rovers in the Irish Super League. Taylor displays great versatility and is an extremely talented scorer. This past season he averaged 33.3 points and 16.9 rebounds a game(both tops in Ireland), while shooting the ball at 52% from the field. Taylor is also a terrific three point shooter and defender. He can score from anywhere on the court and shoots the ball at a great percentage. Taylor played his college ball at UNC-Wilmington through the 2006 NCAA season.

"Taylor is an excellent addition to our group. He had a tremendous season in Ireland last year and, more importantly, shares the same character attributes which have defined our last two championship teams. He is young and hungry to improve as a player." "I look forward to watching his continued development this year". He averaged 33 ppg and 17 rebs last year playing for Shamrock Rover Hoops in Ireland's Super League. Both were tops in Ireland.

The Frost Heaves will open training camp for their inaugural Premier Basketball season December 1, 2008 when all roster players are due to report. For more information visit our website at www.vermontfrostheaves.com.
