
Frost Heaves' Green Named Top 20 Minor Leaguer

South Burlington, Vt.-Terrance Green, a 6'3" guard with the Vermont Frost Heaves, has been named one of the Top 20 players in minor league basketball by ProBasketballNews.com.
A product of the University of Nevada and a member of the Guangdong Southern Tigers' Chinese Basketball Association champions two seasons ago, Green is averaging 15.7 points and 5.4 rebounds per game for the Frost Heaves, while sinking 39.9% of his three-point shots.
"Capable of scoring 30 points but rarely forces anything," wrote PBN.com's Sam Amico in his citation. "Strong defender and underrated rebounder."
Green and the Frost Heaves, now 24-4 and No. 1 in the ABA Power Rankings, visit the Montreal Royal on Friday, Feb. 15, at 7:15 p.m. The return to the Green Mountain State to host the Halifax Rainmen at 2:05 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 17, at the Barre Municipal Auditorium. CLARIFICATION-PLEASE NOTE: In a communication that went out yesterday, the Frost Heaves said, "Vermont children [who have or have had cancer] between the ages of seven and 17 are eligible to attend at no cost." This was in reference to Camp Ta-Kum-Ta, for which Northfield Savings Bank Community All-Star Cedric Alexander will be raising money at Sunday's game.
