Frost Heaves finish on top of poll

Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) today released its final ABA Power Rankings and the 30-6 Vermont Frost Heaves narrowly beat out Jacksonville, Texas, Rochester, and Arkansas for the top spot. According to Brad Hester, ABA VP of Team Operations, "We used a number of factors to determine the Power Rankings for the upcoming playoffs, including the number of games played, the won-lost record, the difficulty of schedule, the closeness of games lost, the quality of wins of a team and other factors. The top 5 teams are very evenly matched and all could make a good case for the number one spot. Now, we'll have to see how they do in the playoffs." The Final Power Rankings:
