Frisco arrived in Anchorage Tuesday to face the Wild in a key playoff game for both teams ... Simply put: If Frisco wins, it's in...The Thunder came to Alaska without QB Wes Cooper and QB Wes St. Aubin, both injured as well as WR Richard Morris and DBs Marcus Stiggers and Don McGee, also injured ... Ironically, WR Jason Deml lived in Alaska but couldn't make the trip due to work obligations ... Frisco has dressed out an IFL-high 43 players this season, 10 more than the next highest (San Angelo) ... Thunder will go with Hunter Simms, who started four games in San Angelo and journeyman Dixie Wooten, who was signed this week, as the QBs ... former Chicago Bears OL Octus Polk rejoined the team this week to shore up pass protection ... Daron Lawrence has stepped up to make for Morris and Deml absences, registering at least 6 catches in last four games; former Southern Miss standout has scored 6 TDs in last two games ... RB Ricky Madison is tied for IFL for rushing TDs with Katy's Carlos Alsup ... DB Shaylon Carter has registered an INT in last three games ... K Dennis Hopovac had 3 FG in Thunder's 50-41 victory over wild and leads the IFL with 16 FG, 4 short of the league single-season record ... Franchise's first victory was in Alaska last year ... Frisco is off next week, then travels to San Angelo on 6/28.
