Friday is School's Out Night

June 5, 2003 - A-League (A-League)
Cincinnati Riverhawks News Release

(Cincinnati, OH) – As a way of celebrating the end of the school year, all students coming to this Friday’s game get in for just $3. This is half off the regular admission price of $6.

The Cincinnati Riverhawks (4-5-0, 12 points) are preparing to host the Calgary Storm (3-5-0, 9 points) this Friday June 6, at 8:05 pm. The Riverhawks are looking to snap their three game losing streak and get back into the Central Division race.

Cincinnati is currently in third place in the Central Division behind Minnesota and El Paso while Calgary is at the bottom of the Pacific Division standings. The Riverhawks and the Storm have very little history with each other, having only played two games since Calgary joined the A-League last season. Calgary won both of those games last year.

The Riverhawks will have a week off after this game before playing their next three games against the Indiana Blast. Cincinnati can lock up the Border Battle Cup during this stretch. The Hawks lead the Blast in the race for the trophy with 6 points by virtue of winning both times the teams have faced each other so far this season.

As an A-League premier team and part of the United Soccer Leagues, the Cincinnati Riverhawks enter its sixth season in 2003. For tickets and general team information call (513) 326-GOAL or visit www.riverhawks.com.
