
Fresno FC Announces Ticket and Bus Package Information for June 6 Match vs. LAFC

FRESNO - Today, Fresno Football Club announced its ticketing options for its upcoming U.S. Open Cup fourth-round matchup against Los Angeles Football Club. The match is scheduled for Wednesday, June 6th and will kickoff at 7 p.m. at the world-class Banc of California Stadium.
Tickets for Fresno FC supporters are general admission at a cost of $20 plus fees. Single game tickets are available here.
Along with its partners at 51 Fifty Energy Drink, El Jefe Tequila, Fat Boys Taqueria and Tioga-Sequoia Brewing Company, Fresno FC is offering a travel & ticket deal for the match. For $75, fans receive a ticket to the match, travel to and from Banc of California Stadium and a pre-match tailgate, courtesy of the club and its partners. With the travel package, fans will depart Fresno on charter buses at 11 a.m. and plan to arrive at 3 p.m. to the stadium, where there will be an official Pre-Match Tailgate Party. Fans would return that night after the game, arriving in Fresno at 2 a.m. Thursday.
Fresno FC defeated Sporting AZ FC, 2-1, in extra time of the U.S. Open Cup third-round match on May 23rd in Chandler, Ariz. Renato Bustamante scored the game-winner in the 99th minute to send the Foxes into the fourth-round where they drew MLS expansion side LAFC. The Foxes also needed extra time to win its second-round match against Orange County FC at Lamonica Stadium on May 16th.
USOC FOURTH ROUND
The 12 third-round winners will square up against 20 MLS teams in 16 fourth-round matches in the 2018 US Open Cup. The fourth-round winners will advance to the Round of 16, to be divided geographically (regardless of league affiliation) into groups of four, with teams who are precluded from playing each other until the Final being placed in the different groups. A random draw, scheduled for Thursday, June 7, will determine the pairings within each group.
USOC AWARDS & PRIZE MONEY
The prize money to be distributed for the competition ending Sept. 2018 includes the following:
U.S. Open Cup Champion $300,000.00
U.S. Open Cup Finalist $100,000.00
Division II team* that advances the furthest $25,000.00
Open Division team* that advances the furthest $25,000.00
Additionally, the U.S. Open Cup champion will be awarded a championship trophy for its trophy case and have its team name added to the Dewar Challenge Trophy, competed for annually since 1912 and symbolic of the U.S. Open Cup champion since 1914. The Open Cup champion also earns a place in the 2019 CONCACAF Champions League, which runs from mid-February to early May. The players from the winning team and the runners-up will be presented with Open Cup medals. U.S. Soccer may also elect to award players from the winning team with championship t-shirts which are to be worn during the trophy presentation.
