ERIE, Pa. --David Dinkins accounted for six touchdowns and Rooselvelt Benjamin registed two touchdowns on returns as the Erie Freeze ran off 53 unanswered points to dispatch the Syracuse Soldiers 67-19 Friday night. The Soldiers (0-3) led 13-6, but Dinkins put the Freeze (3-0) ahead on a 7-yarder with seven minutes remaining in the first half. Erie led 24-13 at half and 59-13 before the Soldiers scored again. Dinkins rushed for 52 yards and four scores while throwing for 108 and two touchdowns. Benjamin had a blocked field goal and 35-yard interception return for scores, and Darmel Whitfield posted a 57-yard kickoff return and a 40-yard strike from Jenkins.
