FLORENCE, KY - The Florence Freedom and Meijer have teamed back up for the fourth year of the Meijer Kids Eat Free Program at University of Cincinnati Medical Center Stadium.
Thanks to Meijer, families with kids 12 and under can pick up a voucher near the customer service desk at Greater Cincinnati Meijer locations and redeem it inside the ballpark good for a free hot dog, bag of chips and Airheads candy. The promotional voucher is good at any Sunday through Wednesday regular season home game in 2013.
"This is an extension of the value the Freedom offer fans that are looking for affordable entertainment for the family," Freedom General Manager Josh Anderson said. "We are so blessed to have a great community partner like Meijer coming back on board to continue this program."
The Meijer Kids Eat Free Program won't be going away any time soon either, as the Freedom and Meijer have agreed to a three-year partnership to keep the deal around through at least the 2015 season.
"So now on a Sunday through Wednesday game, a family can enjoy free parking, $8 tickets by joining our eFlock e-newsletter and their kids can eat for free," Anderson continued. "Throw in running the bases, a post-game autograph session, giveaways and other promotions, and you have a can't beat deal. And oh yeah, there's a baseball game included in all that as well."
The Florence Freedom open the 2013 regular season on a Rewind 94.9 Thirsty Thursday, May 16 at 6:35pm. Fans coming to opening night will receive a UCMC Stadium Rally Towel courtesy of UC Health, $1 beer, $1 soda and $1 ice cream sandwiches. Post-game there will be a concert by C.G.I. Acoustic Trio.
To purchase single game tickets, book a group or season tickets, call the Freedom box office at (859) 594-HITS (4487) or visit FlorenceFreedom.com.
