Fort Wayne Freedom News Release
The Fort Wayne Freedom announced today that they are no longer a member of the National Indoor Football League (NIFL). "We needed to do what was best for our fans, this team and this organization," said Rich Coffey, President. "We feel that leaving the NIFL is in our best interest. We will be in a league that works for us. The Freedom will be taking to the field in 2005."
The Freedom will hold a press conference on Wednesday, November 17th at 3PM at which time they will announce their plans for their membership in a new league. The press conference will take place at the Freedom office at 714A W. Washington Blvd located right above A-1 Mark's Appliances.
