Kennewick WA - The Tri-Cities Fever are proud to announce Bobbi Buttars as their Cheer Coach.
Bobbi comes to the Fever from Southern Utah where she coached dance and cheer for 6 years. Bobbi started dance lessons at the age of 7 in her neighbor's garage in Oak City, Utah. She held the position of Vice President on her high school dance team, danced for one year at a junior college and two years at Southern Utah University where she was the president of her team. Bobbi enjoys dancing, but most of all coaching and helping others develop their talents.
Bobbi has a major in Secondary Education with degrees in Spanish and Dance, she also earned her Masters Degree in Education. She is currently teaching Spanish and coaching the dance team at Hanford High School. Bobbi is married and a mother of two.
Dance team Workouts and Auditions, December 19th and January 9th
The Fever would like to announce cheerleader/dance team tryouts on January 9th, with a training and workout session on December 19th. Those interested must be 18 years of age or older and a dance/cheerleading background preferred.
The training and workout session will focus on letting hopefuls understand what will be expected of them as a part of the Fever dance and cheer team along with learning some simple dance routines. Hopefuls are strongly encouraged to attend this session. Cost is $15.00 and goes towards the tryout fee of $25.00.
