Freedom Announces 2004 Schedule

Fort Wayne Freedom News Release
The Freedom announced their 2004 schedule today and will begin their second season in the National Indoor Football League (NIFL) by opening up at home on Sunday, March 14th against the St. Louis Believers. St. Louis joins the Freedom along with the Evansville BlueCats and the Lexington Horsemen in the newly reconfigured Atlantic Conference. The Freedom's first four games will be against division opponents.
The NIFL expanded this season by adding six new teams into the league. The Atlantic City CardSharks, Staten Island Xtreme, Wichita Falls Thunder, Greenville RiverHawks have all joined the 26 team league along with teams in Fort Collins, Colorado and Waco, Texas.

Kickoff for Friday and Saturday home games is set for 7PM. The opening game on Sunday will have a kickoff of 4PM. Doors open one hour prior to kickoff.
