Franck Tayou Named Week Sixteen Player of the Week

KANSAS CITY - The Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) announced today that forward Franck Tayou from Soles de Sonora was named the Week Sixteen Player of the Week. This is Tayou's second Player of the Week award this season, also earning the award in Week Twelve.
Sonora's goal-scoring extraordinaire scored five goals and two assists at home against the Turlock Express before heading up to San Diego and scoring two more goals on Sunday of Week sixteen. He ended the weekend only three goals short of the MASL record that he set last season.
Already this week, Tayou has scored the three goals he needed to tie the MASL record against Monterrey on Wednesday evening. He will try to beat that record on Saturday at 9:05 p.m. ET when Sonora hosts the El Paso Coyotes at the Centro de Usos Multiples.
