
Francis Filion suspended one game

BOUCHERVILLE, Sunday, February 17, 2008 - The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League's disciplinary committee today imposed a one-game suspension to Shawinigan Cataractes forward Francis Filion. The suspension follows an incident that occurred during last Friday's game in which Filion kneed an Olympiques player.
The decision was rendered after reviewing the videotape of the incident and consulting all concerned parties. The suspension is in effect as of today.
In accordance with the QMJHL policy in the matter of disciplinary sanctions, the disciplinary committee will not be available for further comment.
