
Foxhounds take 8-5 win Friday

Aiken, SC - The Foxhounds bats came alive on Friday night at Roberto Hernandez Stadium. The Redfish scored a run on two hits in the first to take a 1 - 0 lead. In the second inning Ben Bando drove in a run with a double and Foxhounds newcomer Reinaldo Ramirez doubled scoring two more. The Foxhounds added their fourth run on a fielders choice by Will Gonzalez that plated Ramirez.
Charlotte County came back with 2 runs in the top of the 3rd on a 2 run homer by Josh Murray. The Foxhounds answered back in the bottom of the frame on a 2 run home run by Bradley Key. The Foxhounds added a run in the 4th and another in the 5th inning on a solo Home Run by Ben Bando.
Anthony Telford went 5 innings giving up 5 runs on 8 hits to claim his 1st win of the season. Gary Lee came in to pitch a scoreless 6th inning and Mark Dewey landed the Victory with 3 scoreless innings to claim his 1st save of the year.
The Foxhounds will host the Redfish tomorrow night in a Double Header starting at 5:05 pm at Roberto Hernandez Stadium with the gates opening at 4:00 for Family Fun Day sponsored by Burger King. Their will be a pre-game autograph session from 4:00 to 4:20 in the Fan Zone and then after the 2nd game of the Doubleheader kids will get to run the bases.
Tickets are still available online at www.AikenFoxhounds.com or by coming out to the Roberto Hernandez Stadium box office. The Roberto Hernandez Stadium Box Office will open at Noon on Saturday.
