Boston, MA (May 25, 2004) – Major League Lacrosse (MLL), the premiere professional outdoor lacrosse league, today announced that tickets for the Warrior Major League Challenge are now on sale, according to David Gross, the league's Chief Operating Officer. Tickets for the game are $5 each and available either online at www.majorleaguelacrosse.com or by phone at (866) MLL-TIXX. The Warrior Major League Challenge will take place at 5:00 p.m. on June 3 at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut. The event features the elite graduating college seniors playing in an all-star game under MLL rules, including a two-point goal line, 45-second shot clock and a limit of three long poles per team on the field.

Following the game, Major League Lacrosse will hold the 2004 MLL Collegiate Draft at Sacred Heart's Edgerton Center for the Performing Arts.

"The Warrior Major League Challenge is an exciting annual event for the MLL and the players involved, and we are pleased to have this year's festivities at Sacred Heart," said Gross. "The facilities there are excellent, and the support provided by officials like Director of Athletic Marketing & Development Mark Adzigian has been exemplary."

Major League Lacrosse invites only the top 40 college senior lacrosse players to participate in the Warrior Major League Challenge. Invitations are based on recommendations from college coaches, statistical evaluation of player performance and input from MLL coaches. Players from all divisions of play are considered.

After checking in and undergoing physicals in the morning, players will participate in drills and situational play during the afternoon. Warm-ups for the game will begin at 4:15 p.m., with face-off for the Warrior Major League Challenge at 5:00 p.m.

"Warrior Lacrosse is proud to help give the best college seniors a platform to showcase their skills," said MLL Founding Partner Dave Morrow, CEO of Warrior Lacrosse. "These seniors are fighting for the culmination of a dream. Major League Lacrosse is the pinnacle of the sport and each guy needs to give 110% on the field to prove that he has what it takes to play at that level."
