Four Rattlers Nominated for MLL Honors

August 7, 2018 - Major League Lacrosse (MLL) - Dallas Rattlers News Release

FRISCO, Texas - Major League Lacrosse today announced the 2018 MLL Honors Awards Finalists highlighted by Rattlers' attackman Jordan Wolf's nomination for Coca-Cola MVP.

Wolf, a fifth-year veteran out of Duke University, is also nominated for Warrior Offensive Player of the Year. Wolf currently leads the Rattlers with 31 goals and 20 assists.

On the defensive side, the Rattlers are represented by Matt Dunn and John Galloway. Dunn is nominated for Warrior Defensive Player of the Year and Galloway is up for the Brine Goalie of the Year. In just his third season, Dunn made his second All-Star roster and recorded a career-high nine caused turnovers. Galloway, a world champion with Team USA this summer, recorded 121 saves to help the Rattlers to a league-best 11-3 regular season record.

Head coach Bill Warder rounds out the finalists for Coach of the Year. Warder, a longtime assistant for the former Rochester Rattlers, transitioned into the top coaching role upon the team's relocation to Dallas in November 2017.
