Four Kootenay Ice Players Selected in the 2014 NHL Draft

Four Kootenay ICE players were selected in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft that took place in Philadelphia this weekend.
Sam Reinhart was drafted by the Buffalo Sabres (1st Round, 2nd Overall), Rinat Valiev, was drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs (3rd Round, 68th Overall), Jaedon Descheneau was drafted by the St. Louis Blues (5th Round, 124th Overall), and Tanner Faith was drafted by the Minnesota Wild (5thRound, 139th Overall).
This is the second time in franchise history the ICE have had four players selected in the NHL Entry Draft (previously in 1997).
