Four Comets Players Honored by MISL

INDEPENDENCE, MO (March 11, 2014) - The Major Indoor Soccer League honored the top performers from the 2013-14 regular season today, naming the All-MISL First and Second Teams as well as the All-Rookie Team.

Six MISL clubs are represented in the teams, with the Missouri Comets, Milwaukee Wave and Syracuse Silver Knights leading the way with four selections each. The Baltimore Blast had three players honored, while the St. Louis Ambush had two and the Pennsylvania Roar had one. The All-MISL and All-Rookie teams are selected through a vote by MISL team management.

The Missouri Comets earned their second consecutive MISL Championship Series berth Monday night, defeating the Milwaukee Wave 6-2 in the deciding mini-game after the Wave had evened the series 1-1 with a 12-9 victory in Game 2. The Baltimore Blast lead the other semifinal series 1-0 against the Syracuse Silver Knights, with Game 2 set for 6:35 p.m. CT tonight at Baltimore Arena, with all of the action available live on YouTube.
