Richmond, Virginia: This is a sad time for the Indoor Football League and the Tri-Cities Fever as former 27 year old QB, Andy Collins, has passed. The Indoor Football League and its team's thoughts and prayers are with the Collins family and friends.

Andy Collins had a short stent with the Tri-Cities Fever in 2010 after spending time in the AFL. In seven games for the Fever, Collins had a 101.4 QB rating, was 84-for-141 passing for 940 yards, 21 touchdowns and just six interceptions.

Collins' sudden death comes only ten days after marrying college football reporter Brooke Olzendam of CBS. He will always be remembered and greatly missed.
