Former Storm Chaser Named New Coordinator

BOARDMAN, Ohio - The Mahoning Valley Thunder is pleased to announce that Danielle Sperdute (SPUR-duty), a member of the 2007 Storm Chasers has been named Dance Team Coordinator for the 2008 season. Sperdute takes over for former coordinator Chelsea Howe, now a member of the Detroit Pistons (NBA) official dance team, Automotion.

Sperdute, a New Castle, PA native, will be responsible for choreographing routines, organizing public appearances for the group, as well as coordinating the Storm Chasers Dance Clinic during the season. She brings over 18 years of dance experience to the Thunder. Over that time, she has studied jazz, lyrical, African and hip-hop dance.

"We are excited to have Danielle on board with us as the Storm Chasers Coordinator," said Thunder General Manager Adam Tokash. "Her dance experience, along with being a member of the 2007 Storm Chasers will be a great addition to our organization."

2008 tryouts for the Storm Chasers will be held on Saturday, December 15 at Creekside Fitness & Health Center on Rt. 224 in Boardman.
