Former Oregon Duck Wide Receiver Signs with Talons

The Tulsa Talons of the AFL announced today Wide Receiver Brian Paysinger has signed to play with the Talons in 2011.

Paysinger was a two-year starter for the Oregon Ducks (2006 and 2007). He is best known in this part of the country for his game winning touchdown reception against the University of Oklahoma during the controversial non-call game in 2006 in Eugene.

The former Mr. Football candidate in high school in the state of California was 3rd on the team in receiving during his junior season with 34 receptions for 451 yards and 3 scores. His senior season and 2nd as a starter was off to a promising start with 9 receptions for 165 yards before a knee injury ended his college career after just a few games.

"I'm extremely excited about signing Brian for the upcoming 2011 season. Brian is a big time Wide Receiver, from a big time program up in Oregon. With his combined size, speed and ability I look for him to put up huge numbers for our team this season. I know Talons fans are going to love watching him on the field this year," said Talons Head Coach Mitch Allner.

The Talons will once again play all home games at one of the best arenas in the country, the BOK Center in downtown Tulsa. Since the opening in September of 2008, the BOK Center has garnered national and worldwide recognition.
