The two time defending New York Collegiate League Champion Amsterdam Mohawks have a great deal of former players having success in college baseball this spring. In an upcoming story, you can follow the 21 former Mohawks currently playing professional baseball as well.

2008 Mohawks

- Ben Alsup (LSU) RHP- LSU's Sunday starting pitcher is having a great year. So far on the season is 5-3 with a team leading 3.06 ERA in 50 innings pitched

- Ben Clowe (Stanford) LF - Hitting .262 with 2 homeruns as Stanford's cleanup hitter for most of the season

- Mark Onorati (Manhattan) LF- Leadoff hitter hitting .328 with 4 homeruns and 11 stolen bases on the season

- Cody Reine (Oklahoma) RF- After leading team to College World Series title game last year, the Sooner's right fielder is hitting .259 with 2 homeruns in 2011

- Bryce Nugent (Marist) C- Hitting .295 with a team leading 5 homeruns

- Mike Kaczmarek (Kentucky) LHP- In 11 innings pitched for the Wildcats has compiled 4 saves

- Kyle Putman (Marist) RHP-Marist's Sunday starting pitcher is 3-2 on the season

2009 Mohawks

- Braden Kapteyn (Kentucky) 1B/Closer - Hitting third in Kentucky lineup and hitting .327 with a team leading 5 homeruns. On the mound, has 23 strikeouts in 13 innings and 2 saves

- Dan Gamache (Auburn) 3B - Auburn's five hitter and third baseman is currently second on team in hitting with a .327 average and 3 homeruns

- Justin Fradejas (Auburn) OF - Auburn's leadoff hitter and right fielder and a 35th round draft choice by the Colorado Rockies in 2010, is hitting.304 on the season

- Joe Sclafani (Dartmouth) SS- Leadoff hitter is hitting .380 with 3 homeruns

- Mason McVay (Fla. International) LHP- 6'7 LHP who has touched 95 miles per hour this spring has a 2.33 ERA in 16 innings pitched with 23 strikeouts on the season

- Ryan Smith (Dartmouth) RHP- Serves as Dartmouth's closer and is currently 2-1 with 2 saves

- Sean McKeown (Marist) LHP- Currently 4-1 with a 2.38 ERA in 34 innings pitched

- Brendan Chapin (Marist) RHP - In 24 innings pitched has a 4.07 ERA and 23 strikeouts
