Orlando Predators News Release
ORLANDO - The Orlando Predators have agreed to terms with rookie offensive lineman Aaron "AJ" Dalton, the franchise announced Friday via AFL transactions. Dalton enters his first season in the Arena Football League after attending training camp with the Detroit Lions this past offseason.
"AJ is a big, powerful blocker with a very aggressive style of play," said General Manager of Football Operations Michael DiJulio. "He brings the kind of physicality that really sets the tone for what we want to accomplish up front."
Dalton (6-3, 320, Robert Morris) made 37 starts in his four years at Robert Morris University (Moon Township, PA), beginning his career at guard before shifting to left tackle for the Colonials.
As a senior in 2014, Dalton turned in a stellar campaign that garnered All-American honors by The Sports Network and First-Team All-NEC accolades. He started all 11 games at left tackle and surrendered just one sack.
