former QuincyGems pitcher Jake Walsh was drafted in 34th round of the Major League Baseball draft by the Washington Nationals? Walsh, from University of Missouri, tossed 4 1/3 innings for QuincyGems in 2011. In 2012, he was 2-3 with two saves, 27 Ks and a 5.10 ERA.

former QuincyGems outfielder Eric Aguilera was drafted in 34th round of the Major League Baseball draft by the L.A. Angels? Aguilera, from Illinois State University, bated .344 with 8 RBIs in 32 at-bats during the summer of 2010 for the QuincyGems.

former QuincyGems pitcher Ethan Miller was drafted in 22nd round of the Major League Baseball draft by San Francisco Giants? Ethan Miller, from San Diego State, went 1-2 with a 4.19 ERA in five starts for the QuincyGems during the 2010 season

former QuincyGems pitcher Andrew Hanse was drafted in the 22nd round of the Major League Baseball draft by the Tampa Bay Rays? Andrew Hanse, from the University of Iowa, had a 3-0 record and a 4.30 ERA in 4 starts for the QuincyGems during the 2012 season.
