
Former Fayetteville Patriot Making All-Star Saturday Appearance

LOS ANGELES, February 10 â Former Fayetteville Patriot Chris Andersen will be part of the field of four for the Sprite Rising Stars Slam Dunk to be held at NBA All-Star Saturday night, February 14.
Andersen, the first player selected in the inaugural National Basketball Development League Draft in 2002 and the league's first NBDL-to-NBA callup, is a 6-10, 220, forward for the Denver Nuggets. He joins a field consisting of Jason Richardson of the Golden State Warriors, Ricky Davis of the Boston Celtics and Fred Jones of the Indiana Pacers.
NBA All-Star Saturday Night presented by America Online, featuring Sprite Rising Stars Slam Dunk, Foot Locker Three-Point Shootout, 989 Sports Skills Challenge and RadioShack Shooting Stars, will be live on TNT, Rogers Sportsnet and ESPN Radio at 8 p.m. EST.
