
Former Crunch Player Brett Motherwell to Attend Canine Carnival

Syracuse, NY (August 6, 2010) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that former defenseman Brett Motherwell will be attending the Canine Carnival at the Good Dog Park in Liverpool this Saturday, August 7.
Motherwell will be greeting fans and signing autographs from 10 - 11 a.m. at the Crunch booth, which will be open from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. and will feature interactive games and ticket information.
The Canine Carnival will feature more than a dozen vendors of animal products, more than 25 animal rescue and adoption organizations, dozens of pets for adoption, music, a wide variety of food and drinks, games, tons of prizes, an auction, face painting, balloons, VIP and celebrity dog walkers and more. All proceeds will benefit the Priscilla Mahar Animal Welfare Foundation
The Canine Carnival is the brainchild of CNY Central Chief Meteorologist, Wayne Mahar, who began the Priscilla Mahar Animal Welfare Foundation three years ago in honor of his late mother, who was an animal lover. Season tickets for the 2010-11 season are now on sale and can be purchased by calling the Crunch office at (315) 473- 4444, or by stopping by the Crunch office in the War Memorial at Oncenter, located at 800 South State Street in downtown Syracuse.
