Forest City Owls News Release

The Forest City Owls have announced they host their first International Game at McNair Field. The Owls will face off with Japan on July 1st 2011.

"I think this is a great chance for us to showcase Forest City and our great ballpark to the world," says Owls general manager Jeremy Boler.

This game will be the first International game the Owls have played in. "This will be a game you won't want to miss! We are thrilled to host Japan and we are going to make it one to remember," says Boler

The Japan game is included in all Box seat and Premium seat holder ticket packages. 2011 Season Ticket Holders will have the first opportunity to purchase extra tickets to this game before they go on sale to the general public. The best way to guarantee yourself a ticket to the game of the year is to purchase a season ticket package or book a group outing. Season tickets come in packages of 29 - 14 - 7 games. A group outing can be booked for as low as 15 people. Japan tickets will not go on sale to the general public until April.

"This game will sell out, and we have limited tickets to sell, said assistant general manager Denise Holland. "The best way to assure yourself you have a ticket for the game of the year is to join the Season Ticket Holder Family. For the 2011 season we have introduced all new ticket plans. You do not have to come to every game to be a season ticket holder. You can be a season ticket holder for as low as 7 games."
