Force and Diamond Baseball Academy partner up

Allentown, Pa. - The Philadelphia Force have announced a partnership with the Diamond Baseball Academy of King of Prussia, Pa.

As the an official corporate sponsor of the Force, the Diamond Baseball Academy will be the official host of the 2009 spring training for the team and the 2009 edition of the Force will proudly wear the academy's logo on their batting practice jerseys.

Another special treat is that the Force and Diamond Baseball have teamed up together to form their very own 16u travel ball team called the Diamond Force. The team will exclusively wear the Force name across their chest. Try-outs will be announced soon!

"We couldn't be more excited to take on this partnership and we look forward to adding some ‘Force' to make our ‘Diamond' sparkle", said Eric Fisher, owner and general manager of the academy.

Starting this off-season, the Diamond Baseball Academy will be the exclusive camps and clinic host of the Force. The two organizations have already agreed upon a total of seven clinics.

Coaches Clinic- Oct 25th 9am-12pm and Oct 26th 9am-12pm All Skills- November 28th - 9am-12pm Pitchers and Catchers- Dec 13 9-11am Infield Fundamentals- Dec 29th 9-11am Hitting- Dec 30th - 9-11am Pitching and Catching- Jan 31 - 9-11am Hitting- Feb 28th - 9-11am Hitting - April 19th - 9-11am

The Force will introduce the Diamond Baseball Academy to the fans at the regular season finale on Saturday, August 16th during the 4th inning break.

Assistant General Manager Erin Statmore added about the agreement, "This is exactly what we as an organization needed to do in order to move to the next level. We can now can an indoor facility our home and that is something special. I am proud to welcome everyone from Diamond Baseball to the Force family."
