Fargo (ND) The Fargo-Moorhead Jets announced today that they have resigned forward Phil Fox (Stillwater, MN) after he opted to leave the United States Hockey League.

An integral part of the FM Jets' postseason run last season, Fox is more than happy to be back in the Red River Valley. "Its great seeing all the guys and fans again, I really like the way things are around here" Fox commented.

Fox -who had been playing for Cedar Rapids of the USHL- will be available to play this weekend when the Jets travel to Bozeman (Friday) and Billings (Saturday). With Cedar Rapids, Fox burst onto the scene with 4 points (all assists) at the pre-season Buc Bowl in September. In eight regular season games with the Roughriders, Fox had 5 points (1 goal).

With the FM Jets last season, Fox was the team's top scorer during the regular season accumulating 60 points. His 38 assists were 7th best in the NAHL amongst individuals and he was named the #1 STAR in five games.

The Jets are back in action Friday night at Bozeman at 8:05pm (CST)

The FM Jets are the 2005 Borne Cup Champions and are entering their third season as members of the North American Hockey League. The NAHL is the nation's largest Junior A hockey league and is now in its 30th year of operation.

Jets home games are played at the John E. Carlson Coliseum in Fargo, ND. All games are broadcast at STAR 103.9 and fmjets.com.
