
Flying Tigers Return Home to Battle First-Place Yankees on Friday

Lakeland Flying Tigers News Release
Lakeland, FL - The Lakeland Flying Tigers return home for a single game on Friday, August 21 with the first-place Tampa Yankees. Tickets for the game and all home games are available by calling the Flying Tigers at (863) 686-8075. Box seats are $6 and reserved seats are $5 and seniors 55 and over and children 14 and under receive a $1.00 discount. Saturday tickets are an additional $1. Parking is FREE.
Friday, August 21 vs. Tampa Yankees @ 7:00 p.m. (Gates open at 6:00 p.m.) The first 500 paid adult fans will receive a Lakeland Flying Tigers "Ace" pin. Ace is the Flying Tigers team mascot. Kids eat free at all Friday home games as well. All kids 14 and under will receive a free hot dog, soda and bag of chips with paid admission.
The Flying Tigers will also be collecting baseball equipment for Roberto's Kids. The Roberto's Kids program collects and donates new and gently used baseball equipment for children in Latin American countries who don't have any of their own The program continues the legacy and commitment to social responsibility of the late, great Roberto Clemente. Members of the Gulf Coast League Tigers will be signing autographs in the main concourse area prior to the game.
