Flyers to Hold National Anthem Auditions
May 3, 2006 - Golden Baseball League (GBL)
Orange County Flyers News Release
I just wanted to let you know that we will be hosting our 2nd Annual National Anthem Auditions - Presented by Mercury Insurance, on Saturday, May 13, from 11 - 3, at La Lune Court inside the Brea Mall. This is the day before Mother's Day.
We are seeking up to 39 singers, choirs, musicians, etc., to sing prior to the Flyers home games this summer.
Mercury Insurance is teaming up with us to "INSURE" that we find some great singers, and to make sure all of our National Anthems this season are "COVERED". Sorry - bad jokes, I know, but we do seriously want to thank our 2nd year sponsor, Mercury Insurance, for stepping up and making this event possible!
Call the Flyers offices, or email Pam Bryant at pbryant@goldenbaseball.com today to reserve your spot to sing, or if you know of anyone that should have been a winner on American Idol, have them call us to make their appointment! We will also take walk ups, time permitting, on the 13th, but we would prefer to set appointments. We were jammed with singers and musicians at this event last year, and this year we expect a much bigger turnout.
Also, just a reminder that we are still seeking a few more families to host some of our players this season. Give me a call if you are interested in getting two free season seats, as well as other perks.
Finally, single game seats are now on sale, and we are close to selling out June 15, 16, 17, 18, and 23rd, and already have sell outs on the 24th and 25th! Seats are going fast!
