Schaumburg, IL - The Flyers (7-17) were able to fend off a two out, top of the ninth rally by the RiverHawks (9-13) to pick up a 6-4 win, their seventh of the season. The RiverHawks banged out back to back singles with two outs in the top of the ninth with DH Patrick O'Sullivan at the plate, but Joshua Giles was able to close out his 2.1 inning save effort by inducing a fly ball to right.

The RiverHawks struck back in the fourth when Jake Eigsti reached on an error by third baseman Brandon Newton, and Kevin House drove him home with a two out blast, bringing the score to 5-4 Flyers.
