Flyers Name New VP Of Player Personnel

The Orange County Flyers are pleased to announce that Harris Tulchin has been appointed to the position of Executive VP of Player Personnel starting immediately. Mr. Tulchin will handle all player and coach acquisitions, trades and contracts in an effort to build another championship team for the OC Flyers in 2010, taking over for Alan Mintz who has stepped down from this position.

"Harris Tulchin is a graduate of Cornell University and Hastings Law School, a member of the California and Hawaii State Bars, and has practiced entertainment, sports, labor, and business law since 1978. He is a former studio and TV lawyer and business affairs executive (MGM, United Artists, Filmways, KCET TV), has lectured extensively on contracts and business transactions worldwide, and is an international business arbitrator. Mr. Tulchin is a founding member of the Orange County Flyers' management team, Harris has been involved with all aspects of the OC Flyers' legal and business affairs including the acquisition of the OC Flyers team, assets, and territorial rights from the Golden Baseball League, the league operating rights agreement, stadium lease negotiations and new stadium committee, managers and coaches contracts, players contracts, league rules and regulations, player trades and options, media, broadcast, and licensing arrangements. On the entertainment side of his business, he has produced or executive produced over a dozen motion pictures and has been production counsel, financed, sold, or licensed hundreds of other movies worldwide on behalf of his individual and corporate entertainment clients. Harris is passionate about the game of baseball, loves it at the minor league level, has an eye for good talent, and is excited about building a fantastic OC Flyers team for the 2010 season ahead."
