Flowers Ready to Spring Back Into Action

Reading Express GM and Head Coach, Bernie Nowotarski is proud to announce that he has Resigned Rob Flowers. Flowers was voted as the 2009 AIFA Player of The Year as well as the Offensive Player of the Year.

Flowers took over The Express offense after game 4 of the 2008 Season and led the team to a Division Title and an appearance in the Conference Game. Rob came back for the 2009 Season in great shape along with the knowledge he picked up in his first season. The results for 2009 were leading the Express to a 15-3 record a Fourth Division Title a Second Conference Championship and an AIFA National Championship.

Rob's stats for 2009 were Outstanding. Completing 61% of his passes for 3350 yards and 72 Touchdowns. He also rushed for 277 yards and 13 Touchdowns. In the Play-Offs, Rob added another 107 Yards of rushing with 3 TD's and a additional 447 Yards passing and 11 more TD's and only 1 interception.

"He is just a great kid" commented Nowotarski, "both On and Off the football field. He is a tremendous asset to our organization. He loves being with his fans, his friends and our Partners. His family dedication and work ethic is second to none. He's Special not only to our organization but to our Community as well."
