Florida Tropics Launch Florida Tropics Academy

The Florida Tropics will be continuing to expand the success of the club. After the past few years of success at the professional level, we are pleased to announce the launch and operation of the Florida Tropics Academy.

The Tropics brand has been represented as a partnership with the Lakeland Tropics at the youth level for the past four years. The success of the brand awareness has been reached with this partnership and now the development of the Florida Tropics Academy will be directed from within the professional organization. As of May 31, 2022, the The Lakeland Tropics no longer be affiliated with the Florida Tropics SC. The Florida Tropics SC will not operate as one club with our youth as the Florida Tropics Academy. The announcement of the Florida Tropics Academy comes at a time where many youth players are seeking guidance on development as well as being exposed and participate in appropriate leagues that best allow them to be successful as a player.

The Academy will seek to offer a team in every age group, both male and female, U8-U18. Coaches will consist of current professional players for the Florida Tropics, as well as qualified coaches from the Central Florida region. The Academy will compete in both local, state, regional, and national league levels.

There are many exciting details to be released in the coming days so the depth of the club can be realized by the community. A town hall will take place before the end of April to allow all parties involved to be in one location together, and for the community to hear all details, and ask questions where answers are needed.

The future of the Florida Tropics Academy is bright, and we are excited for the coming days!
