
Florida State League Names Pitcher & Player of the Week

The Florida State League announced today the Player and Pitcher of the Week for the period April 14-20, 2014.
The Player of the Week was Palm Beach Cardinals Outfielder Starlin Rodriguez. He played in six games and had eight hits in 21 plate appearances for a .381 batting average. His hits included three homeruns and three doubles. He had seven RBI's and scored six times. His slugging average was .952 and his OBP was .480. This is his fifth year in professional baseball and he resides in Santo Cristobal, DR.
The Pitcher of the Week was Brevard County Manatees Lefthander Jed Bradley. He started one game, recorded the win and had a 0.00 ERA. In six innings pitched he allowed two hits, no runs, no walks, and struck out five batters. This is his third year of professional baseball and he resides in Huntsville, AL.
