Florida Seals to produce new reality tv series

[Celebration, Fla] - The Florida Seals of the Southern Professional Hockey League announced today that they have struck a deal with entertainment pioneer Underground Productions to produce a new reality television series featuring the players and management of the popular Central Florida sports franchise.

The show promises to be a cutting edge behind the scenes look at all aspects of a sports organization. From Head Coaches to cheerleaders, Seals fans will see all their favorite personalities up close and personal.

The series will feature key Seals players as they pursue their larger than life fantasies both on and off the ice. Among others, the show will highlight Seals Captain and veteran, Steve Zoryk as he returns for one last shot at a championship ring.

Also featured will be the Seals ever popular bump and grind dance team known as the "Ice Girls.". Fans will have an all-access pass to the everyday lives of Central Florida's hottest.

"We are really setting no restrictions on what can be taped by the producers. This looks to be a new and exciting twist in reality and sports television," commented Seals Head Coach Tommy Stewart.

The show's producers hope to involve the team's fan base to the point of actually casting them as on screen participants in the series.

The one hour, thirteen episode series will begin airing on cable television in the Central Florida area as early as November. Plans are in the works to introduce the show on a national level in early 2007.
